Isa Mustafa: Those who risked relations with US have no legitimacy to speak on behalf of Kosovo state

The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Muatafa has said Kosovo's future is and remains in European and Euro-Atlantic integrations.

Dear citizens,
Kosovo's future is and remains in European and Euro-Atlantic integrations. EU and NATO member and close friendship and partnership with the United States.
We have the right to be disappointed in the EU and in some EU countries for nonliberalisation of visas. We have the right, as well, to express our concern about how the EU's top representative, Borell, who calls Serbia a state, and Kosovo, alone, will lead the dialogue that has not recognised the country.5 EU states. Or, is he the most shot of all? Lajcak, who rejected Kosovo membership in U NESCO, what will be neutral in mediating dialogue. Or is the rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, rapporteur for all of Kosovo or the rapporteur of a leftist political party, just as it is behaving! ?
Disillusionment is not a loss of confidence. Trust in the EU and its institutions lies in our uncomfortable orientation and without the alternative to our European integration. A friend of mine used to say, “even if we get taken out of the door, we go through the window”.
No one can distance us from our European and Euro-Atlantic beliefs and affiliation. Even without visa liberalisation, we are here, within European borders, co-operating with EU member states, its institutions, with European People's Party (EPP), and do not stop working on our rights and our vision as European citizens. We do not change our political beliefs as democratic beliefs that are our foundation!
Relations, political attitudes and trust in the EU and the United States remain in our pro-Western doctrine. They are not daily policy fluscules, about who is with Thaci and who with Kurt.
Such interpretation is the most primitive and the foremost way of political resonance, however. Even of some diplomat who built his beliefs at the party, dinner and lunch with those who seduced him and spoke to him the way he/she would like to hear. Of some media or parts of civil society. Of party militants and “rebels<x1 party>.
The LDK trusts the EU because it considers home to its own political, democratic and economic. Not that the EU is different.
The LDK has firm confidence in its permanent partnership with the United States as its strategic ally. He believes in the state and the American people, who saved Kosovo in the most difficult of times. He believes that with the United States, and in co-operation with the EU, the process of dialogue with mutual recognition can be completed.
We share the conviction that those who jeopardised relations with the United States have no legitimacy to speak and act on behalf of the state of Kosovo.
The LDK has knowledge, wherever and vision to lead the state, to fight the indisposed Pandemia, face the economic and social consequences of Covid-19 as well as to advance the country on our European path.
