The latest research successfully protected rats against lethal doses of MERCS, a coronavirus close to what causes Coddy-19shin.
Scientists said the same method of offering could also work against SARS-CoV-2, virus responsible for the Pandemia of Avid-19shi.
In research, scientists used another virus that is harmless to humans, put it in that form to produce glicoprotein, known in cases of MERCS infections, follows Periscope from Independent.
Rats sucked the virus into a single dose.
When the same mice were exposed to a lethal dose of MERCS, four weeks later, everyone survived. While all the rats who took the vaccine died.
Scientists now hope that they can use the virus to offer vaccines to other coronary diseases.
“Our research suggests that the use of this vaccine for new coronarys, including SARS-CoV-2, could be beneficial,” said Paul McCray, one of the authors of the study.
