Meanwhile, with the recommendation of the Health Ministry, some areas of people affected by coronavirus have been quarantined as a preventative measure to pandemic.
The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that they are constantly being contacted and monitored by all contact cases, as well as contact contacts being imposed for self-isolation and seek medical assistance if they have symptoms.
According to the ICHPK, 4,273 contact cases have been contacted so far.
Despite measures undertaken and recommendations made by the Ministry of Health, the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health and other health institutions, the number of infected people with COVID-19 has continued to rise.
Meanwhile, health experts, infection, epidemiologists, and microbiologists have raised the alarm for citizens to follow advice and stay at home and keep their social distance to avoid this pandemic.
“Restract measures (suspection of cases, school closure, ban on different gatherings and events, widespread social distance, including local and national isolation), are important components in protecting the population from COVID-19.
