Today on April 23, 2020, at the IKSHPK Medieval Microbiology Laboratory with RT- The PCR, a total of 255 samples taken from the Infectious Clinic, tracking ground-time contacts and quarantines at the student centre have been tested.
With SARS-CoV-2, a total of thirty-nine (39) cases have been diagnosed.
Positive cases are contact cases, twenty-six cases from the municipality of Peja (according to residence: 15 (15) new and eleven cases (11) Pec cases), nine (9) residential cases in Prizren, two (2) residential cases in northern Mitrovica, and with one (1) cases of settlements: Krnyni-Istog and Zvecan.
The large number of cases confirmed in Pec today are due to participation in a weekly ceremony on April 6, 2020, despite measures to prevent mass collection of citizens. As a result of this action so far, 36 positive cases with COVID-19 have been diagnosed.
On April 23, 2020, an Infectious Clinic reported a (1) case of death, the 53-year-old male gender in Prizren and confirmed with COVID-19 by 10,04,20. The patient has been hospitalised at the Infectious Clinic by 13.04.20 in heavy condition and care. Contaminated complications have developed in the patient during his illness's performance as a result of COVID-19.
Today, April 23, 2020, more than twenty-one patients have recovered, based on O's recommendations If two samples result negative with at least one day's distance. The total number of healed to date is a total of one hundred fifty and nine (159).
From February 08 to April 23, 2020, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKHPK with RT- The PCR, a total of 5,627 suspicious samples in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and a total of positive ones resulted in six hundred sixty-nine (669) cases, while a total of nineteen cases have changed lives and had other accompanying diseases.
In the IKSHPK in a continuous 24-hour period is being contacted and monitored by all case contacts, as well as contact contacts by binding them for self-isolation and seeking medical assistance if they have symptoms.
