Mexican football legend Thomas Balcazar has passed away at the age of 88, the country's Federation confirmed.
Balzazar was the father of Javier Chicharo Hernandez, member of the Mexico World Cup team 1986.
Hernandez's son, former Manchester United striker and current L. Galaxy Javier-Chicharito Hernandez's current star, is also a legendary figure for Al-Tregg, as they represented their country in no less than three World Cups the third generation of Hernandez-Balczaar family to do so, the news reads.
And this weekend the family was shocked at the news that Balzar had passed away in Guadalcanal.
Mexico's “The national teams resent the sad loss of Thomas Balczar Gonzalez”, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) wrote in its official Twitter account.
