New Zealand Prime Minister Yacinda Ardern has declared that there are no more undiscovered cases with Avid019 and that the country has won the battle.
Today, New Zealand will remove some of its restrictive measures, the BBC writes.
Health Director General Dr. Ashley Bloomfield said the site had reached its “target of eliminating”.
He explained this doesn't mean zero cases “but it means that we know where our cases come from”.
A victim was recorded in New Zealand and an infected person from Covid-19 today.
So far in the country, 19 victims from Covid-19 have been recorded, and 1,469 cases have been recorded, where about 80% of patients have recovered.
