Abrashi: 1964 testing on February 8th, there are few

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Arba Abrashi wrote that Kosovo has done very little testing for Coronavirus.

The practice of other countries, especially those countries that are successfully handling, the Comvid 19 pandemic, shows that the more tests, the more infected they have been discovered, thus better organizing the health system and evental loads.

One of the World Health Organization's main recommendations on confronting Covid 19, in addition to maintaining distance and hygiene, is the recommendation for continued tests on the part of institutions. Governments around the globe are instructed to run tests, to the greatest extent possible, even to the “tes test”t.

Today, the governments of countries that seriously treat Ovid 19 have very optimistic testing goals, for example. Britain aims at 100,000 tests a day; when Italy has increased the number of tests, it has stabilised the situation.

What concerns me is that Kosovo has done very little testing for Coved 19.

In Kosovo, according to the latest data (today) in Kosovo, only 1964 tests have been conducted, Latvia with an estimated population (1.9 million people) conducted some 18,500 tests; Slovenia, with about 2 million people, has conducted around 25,000 tests, Malta with about 500,000 inhabitants has conducted about 4,500 tests, and in Kosovo 1964 tests. Someone might argue that in relation to the region we're OK, but we shouldn't take them as reference because our health system is weaker.

In other words, around 1964 tests from February 8th (first case) have been conducted in Kosovo, which reveals an extremely low daily average, despite citizens' continuing seeking tests.

This message goes only to political structures, prime minister and people close to him. Prime Minister knows that the institute's recommendations are to test only the seats, but O recommendation. BSH is “test test” and the decision is political, act!
