460 thousand euros earmarked for construction of the Judo National Centre in Pec

The goal of the memorandum of co-operation is co-finance in implementing the “project construction of the Judo National Centre in Pec”, which will be realised this year and next, with a total of 460 thousand euros.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will allocate over 300 thousand euros, while the Kosovo Federation of Judo will allocate 160 thousand euros.

With the signing of this memorandum, we today have launched the realisation of a major and important project not only for Judists and sports, but also for our country in general, because besides the practical role of the Judo National Centre in Pec, it will also be an image in the international arena for Kosovo, because the jungle sport has greatly influenced our country's”.
“This centre will also be a hearth for athletes to come in the future and will also be a destination for foreign visitors, who are interested in the success and history of the Judo in our country”, incumbent Minister Vlora Dumosh has said.

Meanwhile, for his part, President Agron Kuka thanked Minister Dungumi for the support and co-participation of the MKRS in this vital June project in Kosovo.
He said that with the construction of this object, athletes will be even more encouraged to succeed and add results so that they can bring new Kosovo medals to judo, but also focus on extracting new talents in Judo.
