Special media package line requested

The chairman of the Kosovo Economic House, Berat Rukiqii, requested a special line of emergency package designed for the media.

According to him, due to drastic reductions in advertising revenues, many journalists are at risk of being paid, while thanking the media for supporting the private sector.

All sectors of the economy are indirectly and directly affected by the consequences of limiting and halting activity due to measures to prevent spread of pandemic. The media have at no time stopped working on fair public information, awareness of health care and care, but also supporting the right cause for workplace preservation. Paradoxically, due to the drastic reductions of advertising revenues, many journalists risk being paid off, so a special line of emergency package designed for the media is necessary, as is the sport.
