A Serb from Lipjan appears positive with coronary

A 62-year-old Serbian woman from Lipjan's Dobratin has been diagnosed with the corona virus and since Serbs do not recognise Kosovo health institutions, she has been sent to the Nis hospital in Serbia. Pavicevic: All Serbs affected by coronavirus are sent to Serbia for further treatment.

The local Serbian media in northern Mitrovica, referring to a statement by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and an announcement of the director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Marko Djurovic, have indicated on the first case of coronavrus at the sites with the Serb population in Kosovo. Djuric has said that one person has been affected by the corona virus and is a 62-year-old woman in the Lipjan Dobrat.
It was initially admitted to the Pristina Hospital Centre in Gracanica and then transported to the Nis Hospital. Her family has immediately been asked for ownership under the supervision of medical staff, which will be in permanent contact with the infected person's family”, said Djuric.

Even Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, who has been addressing the people of Serbia Friday evening hours, has expressed concern over the case of coronavirus infection in the Lipjan Dobrat. And since Serbs do not recognise health institutions and since Serbia has received the command to care for health institutions operating with Serbia's system, the Serbian president himself has recommended to them that the state of Serbia will take care of the health of all Serbs. The director of the Serbian Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, has said on Saturday that deinfectation pumps for Serbian municipalities in the south have been provided and 832 with little toilet tools for social residents in northern Mitrovica and Leposaviq. He added that even nuns at the Davidi Monastery in Skenderaj were sent food packages.

On the other hand, Serbia's Pristina liaison officer Dejan Pavicevic, who has visited the enclaves in Osojan of Istog and Gorazdevc of Pec, has said that for all persons who eventually affected with coronavirus, there will be state care. What I can say is that there is protocol to care for all the sick and that no one will be overlooked. People will have maximum care under recommendations. We have prominent epidemiologists who are part of the State of the Crisis of the Republic of Serbia, we just need to apply their recommendations”, said Pavicevic.

And in northern Mitrovica, meanwhile, has continued disinfecting residences and public institutions, roads and all spaces, the crisis headquarters in this country has assured that there is no case affected by COVID-19 in northern Kosovo municipalities.
