Kosovo Institute of Public Health Director Naser Ramadani has said that Kosovo is still in the initial phase of confronting Coronavirus.
According to him in the country, there is expected to be an increase in the number of cases affected by this virus.
We expect to increase the infection rate, peak and then drop. We are at the entrance, so we ask for patience from citizens, not to come out and not stick together”, Ramadani said of the Kosovo Clan.
In this interview, Ramadani has said there are 94 people confirmed with COVID-19, meaning there are no new cases so far.
We're entering the epidemic, at every stage we're in the epidemic. We had the preparation phase on January 1st, then we started preparations when some world countries declared emergency situations. We're on the third stage and we're trying to keep this situation under control”.
The co-operation with citizens is more than necessary for the nonproliferation of the virus. There will be no epidemic. All elements belonging to an epidemic are expected, from human resources, to field implementation issues. There are some groups that still hold gatherings, goals and weddings not only overload the epidemic situation in Kosovo”.
The undertaken measures were made prematurely, many states are delayed. We've undertaken time since school break. The epidemiological situation is being controlled”.
