The president's decree of emergency has not arrived in the country

This has been confirmed by Kosovo's adviser to Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani, Faton Peci, who has said they have not yet accepted the decree.

After accepting the decree, Kosovo's Assembly within 48 hours must hold the session to decide.

Last night, head of state Hashim Thaci, at a media conference after the Security Council meeting, said he would propose the Parliament to approve the decree to declare a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 virus. However, that requirement has been rejected by the Kosovo government.

Until now, 19 cases of coronarys have been recorded in Kosovo.
