President Stevo Pendarovski, who announced the Council's decision, said that if there is a need in the coming days, the Council will propose to the Government the proclamation of the crisis situation in other municipalities as well.
Pendarovski said the country is managing the situation better than other countries in the region, and appealed to citizens to precisely implement the measures, while letting it know that the crisis will last a long time.
“We should not speed up with the announcement of crisis conditions across the territory for at least two reasons. The first, there is no need and all competent institutions night and day monitor the situation on the ground and react. Second, it's clear everywhere in the morning that the crisis will last. The crisis is not here for a week or two and we need to direct resources to real needs and risks. I want to lead, on behalf of the Council, appeal to citizens to strictly respect all measures implemented”, Stevo Pendarovski said. /Alsat/
