The Democratic Party of Kosovo condemns calls by senior Vetevendosje officials these days for violence and brother-in-law. The PDK considers this violent language punishable because it is promoting a dangerous social conflict.
These statements, organised by the Vetevendosje Movement within and outside Kosovo, are aimed at promoting a chain of violence that comes out of state institutions to retain power at any cost. They started with Albin Kurti in the Kosovo Assembly, which during the hearing warned the unrest, to escalate with threatening statements by Agim Bahtiri, Boykan Abbas, Artan Abras, and other LVV representatives who have talked about violence, anarchy and brotherland. We strongly condemn hate language and create a climate of fear by senior Vetevendosje officials, assisted and orchestrated by irresponsible analysts in Albania and Kosovo”, the PDK's response reported.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo will not allow anyone to threaten public security, sow divisions, stir civil conflict and violate constitutional order. The consequences of these actions are unpredictable and the total responsibility for whatever happens is to be all of Vetevendosje” Movement, said further in response.
