It has become known at the March 20th meeting. 2020, the Swiss Federal Council decided to take additional measures, even for the continuation of foreign residence permit.
It says that foreigners, who are temporarily unable to return to their country of origin due to the current situation -- the show of coronavirus -- are required to appear and register at the Migration Office in their settlement in order to apply for temporary permission to stay in Switzerland.
