With the aim of further life of measures undertaken by the Government of Kosovo to facilitate the situation created by the Cranobristus Coronobius-19, Finance and Transfers Minister Besnik Bislimi, has today made a decision on the provisional measures to protect pension schema beneficiaries.
According to the ministry's announcement, these measures are set in view of the age and sensitivity of this category, and in no way violate the rights of this category but are favourable in this situation.
The steps taken are like the following:
1. Pensioners for an indefinite term are not obliged to report to relevant centres for continuing retirement.
2. Aplicants for benefit from social schemes are not obliged to submit for an indefinite deadline application, for replication or for medical sessions «, since these are suspended.
3. Implementation of these measures will not harm the beneficiaries of pension schemes. No one's going to stop their retirement due to anonymity. Likewise, each potential beneficiary would benefit retroactively from schemes, based on the date of right profit or the date when demand could be submitted to normal conditions.
These measures are of temporary nature. Schema beneficiaries will be announced over time for eventual changes.
The Ministry of Finance and Transfers appeals to all beneficiaries of social schemes and to all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo for increased care, according to instructions from health institutions, without causing panic for the created situation.
