New measures warned in Kosovo for Coronavirus

Health Minister Arben Vitita held a meeting today with health institutions management and representatives of medical community organisations. At this meeting, MSH reports, recommendations regarding the situation in the country have been made due to the codcid-19 virus, and other measures are expected.
The deputy minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs attended this meeting, Mr. Jedal Svechla.
During this meeting, the situation was discussed on the ground following the Kosovo Government's announcement of emergency, with the recommendation of the Ministry of Health.
Several recommendations from health professionals were given at the meeting, which were later classified as to how to proceed in the emergency situation so that institutions are more efficient in implementing the Action Plan.
In order to coordinate this meeting was discussed also the hierarchy of decision-making structures, as well as the reorganization and systematisation of health workers in line with the created situation and emergency needs.
Minister Vitita announced representatives of institutions and health organisations with a series of measures already undertaken by the Ministry of Health, since they have been approved in advance by the Committee for Co-ordination and Estimate of Emergency Systems concerning the Devid-19 virus.
At this meeting, it has been proposed that this relief be provided to older medical staff; to inform volunteers who have expressed readiness, organising mobile teams to visit citizens who have signs of suspicion at COVID-19, supply of protective materials to areas where exits have been banned, etc.
These and other unanimously agreed measures at this meeting, which will be co-ordinated as a single body in protecting population health, will be published after they are approved by the Emergency Management Committee, part of which are all relevant institutions.
While, then the Special Commission led by the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo will be addressed.
