Although LDK chairman Isa Mustafa is at the collection of signatures to trigger the Kurti Government, of which the LDK is also part, the prime minister is holding meetings with ambassadors.

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted the United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, today, broadcasts news.net.

Prime Minister Kurti announced to Ambassador Abbott that the situation after Coronavirus' appearance in Kosovo is stable and the measures taken by the Government are keeping the situation under control. He pointed out that those with COVID-19 are stable, and 6 of them have been released to continue healing at home in self - isolation.

As for the political situation, Prime Minister Kurti suggested that in this manageable situation there is no need for the announcement of the state of emergency and that the president's call is unfounded and unnecessary.

For his part, Ambassador Abbott said that in this emergency public health situation it is essential that the political actions of state institutions be governed under the Kosovo Constitution. He called for all parties to make sure that their discussions and negotiations are conducted so that they can ensure all communities in Kosovo, without causing added concerns that are felt by all in these difficult times.

He assured Prime Minister Kurti of continued support for the United Kingdom for independence and stability in Kosovo.

Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti also had a meeting today with Norway's ambassador to Kosovo, Jens Erik Grondahl.

The meeting was dominated by discussion on the situation created by the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ambassador Grondahl, while co-operating with the public health situation created as a result of the pandemic, expressed readiness to provide assistance to the Republic of Kosovo in its efforts to prevent further distribution of the Corona virus.

Prime Minister Kurti expressed sincere thanks for supporting the Norwegian state and called for solidarity among all states that are facing the COVID-19 pandemic. The two pledged to boost co-operation between the two states in all areas.
