After a long time Kosovo's jungles will compete in Russia. The March 13th to March 15th, in Ekaterinburg, Russia, takes the Grand Slam Judo tournament.

Grand Slam contests are among the most appreciated in the judo sport, while Kosovo has also been presented for participating in Ekaterinburg. The official site of the International Judo Federation has written that Kosovo in the important race in Russia will represent Majlinda Kelmendi in the category of up to 52kg, and Loriana Kuka in the category of up to 78kg.
Coach Driton Kuka has confirmed for Koha.net that Majlinda and Loriana are expected to compete, but that this should be confirmed in the meantime. The Kosovo team in Judo for the last time in Russia competed at the end of 2017. On December 16, 2017, St. Petersburg had been racing Nora Gjakova and Distria Krasniqi at the Masters tournament. Majlinda recently competed in Russia in December 2016, when the Club Champions League was held in Grozny. Majlinda in Russia has won her second world title (2014) and also a European title (2016). Loriana Kuka will race in Russia for the first time.

The competition in Ekaterinburg will not be common. Because of the spread of the choreography, there will be no audience at the gym. And racers may participate with medical certificate. In its absence, they will undergo medical tests once they reach Russia. Russia has taken additional measures after the choreography has affected many countries in the world.

The X-rays may have a lot of trouble on their way to Russia. Because of the choreography, there are pre-emptive controls at the border and other measures”, coach Driton Kuka for Koha.net said.

Coronervirus has also contributed to the jungle competitions. Some competitions have already been cancelled, and others may be canceled in the weeks ahead.

At this stage, the jungle's world tour competitions are highly valued. Judits look for points in each race in the best ranking effort for the Tokyo Olympics.

Majlinda has not competed from November last year, while Loriana from October of last year.
