KEK board calls company workers heroes, approves 300 euro extensions for each

This decision has been approved by all members of the Board and highly praised in view that Management has exempted itself from the benefit of these additions, despite all directors and managerial staff are at the helm and are staying close to the workers, KEK reports, broadcasting Active Prees.

The additional stimulus also does not benefit administration workers and those who have been released from work at this time of pandemic, primarily chronically ill workers or other diseases. Yet, all will enjoy the full wage.

The Board of Directors of the Energy Corporation of Kosovo has stressed that it has closely and carefully forwarded all actions and measures taken by the High Management and the work that has been done these days of corporate mobilization to take adequate measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

We're extremely satisfied with the actions taken in time by the management manager, Mr. News Thaci and all the entity directors. We have encouraged them for commitment and work by offering them the necessary support if needed by the Board of Directors. We have been informed more recently of all the decisions made, originally by the Straight Body, as the National Institute of Public Health and then all actions in line with the decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo”, said the KEK Board of Directors' communique.

They have estimated it is extraordinary mobilization and more time, even though fortunately we have not reported a single case so far, nor with the slightest signs of any KEK worker's doubts.

The permanent Security Committee has been mobilised and emergency headquarters have been created. All measures of cleaning, disinfecting of working spaces and tools have been taken and equipment has been provided to protect workers, such as gloves, masks, hygienic alcohol, etc. Also, maximum standards have been carefully drawn up of workers who have to be relieved of their jobs and are in a state of readiness from an older age, workers suffering from chronic diseases and administrations that may be in the service of their homes.
