From February 27th to March 5th, over 400 people from Italy have entered Kosovo, via the border point in Vremica.
In this regard, KALLXO.com has sent questions to the Kosovo National Public Health Institute to get clarifications on whether these people have been contacted and the initial measures for protection from the COVID-19 have been taken.
National Public Health Institute Director Naser Ramadani told KALLXO.com that all incoming persons have been contacted.
As far as instructions for self-isolation under measures put forward by the government, Ramadani has said briefly that these guidelines are given at the airport.
At the airport is the directive for self-dation for all citizens”, he added.
However, Ramadani has not responded if the people coming from Italy have been isolated.
Italy is the worst hit country in Europe by coronarys, with nearly 25,000 affected and more than 1,800 victims.
