Kosovo police have arrested the owner of the firm “Aztech” today for disrespecting the provisions that Kosovo's legislation envisions for protection from Coronavirus (COVID-19). According to the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec, the suspect has been detained for 48 hours under suspicion that at the opening of his establishment, he has acted contrary to the decisions of the Government of Kosovo. My supervisor confirmed that today the 48-hour suspect has been detained because his actions have contradicted government decisions”, Shkodran Nikci, spokesperson for the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, said.
Safe labors within the State Prosecutor have told Insider that the detainee is Gojart Shaqiri, owner of the company “Aztech”, a private firm that deals with the trade of technology equipment.
Shaqiri, who owns 50 per cent of the shares of “Aztech”, is the son of Ilir Shaqiri, popular music singer.
