Prime Minister Kurti's declaration of the tax made before the media has not agreed within the coalition. While, in the final agreement with Serbia there will be no trade with territories. Thus declares Kosovo government Deputy Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti in an interview for Kosovo Press.
The second executive, from the LDK ranks, voiced determination that Kosovo will not compromise against Serbia in return for mutual recognition.
In an interview for KosovoPress, Hoti says the position of the government Kurti is clear, territorial integrity and constitutional order is incompatible.
The second executive from the LDK ranks said determined that Kosovo will not compromise against Serbia in return for mutual recognition.
In an interview for KosovoPress, Hoti says the position of the government Kurti is clear, territorial integrity and constitutional order is incompatible.
There is no <x0gt with territories. We can't discuss this subject, I believe this subject is closed in Vienna's conversation and its declaration of independence. What we need to do now is strengthen the state of Kosovo, the country's territorial integrity is inconsistent. The order and constitutional organisation within the country is indisputable, non-negotiable. We are for normalising relations with Serbia, which should lead to mutual recognition”, he says.
But, to give space to dialogue with Serbia, Deputy Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti said they are making efforts with the coalition partner to find a solution to tax evasion.
We're trying, in some of the meetings that we've been having to agree on. But until now that we're talking, we don't have a deal on the matter. Setting any measure is done only through government decisions. The statement made before the media, by Prime Minister Kurti, has not been agreed within the coalition we have”, says Deputy Prime Minister Hoti.
Speaking of compensation that could be granted to Serbia, according to European Integration Minister Blerim Reka, Hoti voiced opposition to that idea. He says there is no room for any compromise that could become the neighbouring state.
I believe that we should be careful of all public officials in such statements. Too careful. What is important is that the position of this government, this coalition government is not clear over the agreement with Serbia... there is no room for any compromise that we can make as a society, I invite all colleagues in the government to be careful with their public statements”, Hoti said.
For co-governing with the Vetevendosje Movement, LDK deputy chairman voiced confidence that they would continue jointly in the executive to implement the promised reforms.
We're in a co-government together. I believe it's been working so far. I am convinced that even further we will continue to move forward the reforms we agreed on as two political parties in this” coalition, he says.
Deputy Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, among other things for Kosovo Press, reiterated that all reciprocal measures expected to be taken against Serbia should have the full support of international partners.
