Hamza praises document submitted by Bislim, but criticises him who left the Commission

The Commission for Board and Transfer, today, is considering in principle the budgetary division bill of the Republic of Kosovo in 2020.

Although the budget presentation has not yet been completed, Finance and Transfers Minister Besnik Bislimi said he has to go to the Government meeting and that he cannot stay until the end of this meeting, writes Periscope.

I am allowed to go to the Government meeting, but the team remains here”, Bislim said.

Former Finance Minister Bedri Hamza reacted to this action.

Hamza praised the work that was done in drafting the submitted draft budget document, however, there was criticism of the departure of Minister Bisilmi.

He said it did not happen while he was minister, to present the budget on the commission without his presence.

Hamza even said the government meeting could be held without a minister since there is quorum.

“we welcome the minister's experience. I thank the deputy ministers, especially all those hundreds, perhaps thousands of professionals who have done a tremendous job in drafting this document. I understand the seriousness of the situation, I believe the Government can continue to meet without a minister. Maybe I'm wrong, but never at least as much as I was a minister, it never happened that I was not present at the budget presentation before the Commission. I have had cases when no continuation of the commission's work in the absence of Minister” was allowed, Hamza said. /Periscopi/
