Kosovo Government Deputy Prime Minister Haki Abazi says the reactions of the friendly international states will repel President Hashim Thaci from his goals, as he considers deconstructives on the situation of the Deved-19 pandemic.
Abazi for Kosovo Press says the government's yesterday decision on limiting freedom is already in the hands of experts, but stressing that no one can take responsibility to jeopardise public health for political agendas.
Ahaz has interpreted the Quint State Declaration in his own way, saying that Kosovo's friendly countries have demanded that the government be able to do its job.
I don't believe the president has competence, you saw the position of the states of Quinti, which I directly ask for the government to do its job. Just like he's doing. I believe these will deter the president from his deconstructive and unhealthy goals for the situation we find ourselves in. No one can take responsibility, nor can the Constitutional Court risk public health because of the president's political agenda”, Abazi said.
Reasoning on limiting the movement of citizens to certain periods of time, the second deputy prime minister says it has done so without Albania declaring the state of emergency.
Meanwhile, the country's President Hashim Thaci said a little earlier that the statements of the Quint states coincided with his demands.
