“The Dutch flower auction has existed for over a hundred years and we've never been in a crisis like this,” he told AFP.
Royal FloraHolland It claims that between 70 per cent and 80 per cent of the Dutch flowers' annual production has been destroyed.
This is a strong blow to a country for which tulips are equally important; a symbol of national identity.
