This ministry's spokesman, Kianoush Yahanpour, said on Sunday that more than 6500 cases of infected persons have already been confirmed in Iran.
In the capital of the Islamic republic alone, in Tehran, 1800 cases have been recorded, while the Coronavirus has spread throughout all 31 provinces of Iran.
