Earlier, the chairman of the Kosovo Competition Authority announced that tomorrow he will call an emergency meeting of the AKK Commission, where they will co-ordinate with the Government about actions to be taken after concerns the AKK says to have accepted by citizens and public opinion on increasing food products prices during the established COVID-19 situation.
After the many concerns we've received from citizens and public opinion about increasing food products prices during the established state of COVID-19, and after the emergency meeting of the Kosovo government that was held tonight at 8:00 p.m., Z. Prime Minister Hoti proposed an Executive Commission in the composition of the Competition Authority and several ministers to monitor the misuse of prices in such an emergency situation. From tomorrow I will call an emergency AKK Commission meeting and we will be co-ordinating with the government”, Prestreshi said.
