Northern Macedonia Health Minister Venko Filice at a news conference has confirmed two new cases of coronary in this country.
It's about a couple of husbands aged 62 and 68 from Debra, both returned from Italy on February 27th.
In the first few moments, no doubt about the coronary has been recorded, because the virus has been incubation, but after 3-4 days the first symptoms have emerged.
The couple have returned from Italy by bus and entered the Tabanoci border point, where they are next headed towards Skopje and completed their trip to the town of Debar.
Both patients have said that they had contact only with their wife's brother. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already found the names and addresses of all travelers who have been on that bus with two patients and are doing their chemistry. Afterwards, epidemiologists along with MPB representatives will interview in accordance with all the data they will provide, their state of health, the analysis of the contacts they have had these days, and eventually they will do the assessment whether to isolate themselves or not.
For more information, the minister said that there will be more press statements expected tomorrow.
We have two new positive cases with the coronary virus, just as we announced two hours ago. It is a marriage mate, aged 62 and 68 years, who in our country have arrived from northern Italy, the 27th of last month. After entering the border, some travelers have landed in Kumanovo, Skopje and Debar. At the time, patients have shown no symptoms. For the first time, light symptoms were presented on March 3 to the mother doctor who did not recognize the indicators to recommend the test of the coronary virus and released them for domestic treatment. Today, they have turned to the hospital in Debar, where an epidemiologist from Gostivar had arrived, where the index with all symptoms was put. During yesterday it was taken from them, and today it's been tested. During their stay at home, patients have shown that they had contact only with their wife's brother. In the afternoon hours today, there has been an interview by epidemiologists to confirm whether that person or other family members should be placed in solitary confinement. In collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, names and names have already been found for all travelers on the bus that took place on the 27th of last month. At this point, the identification of their settlements is being made, and from tonight and tomorrow, after the identification of travellers, epidemiologists and MPB representatives will interview them in accordance with all the data they're going to provide, their state of health, their contact analysis they've had, and in the meantime all the measures for which we're going to tell you specifically during tomorrow. Tonight, patients with special cars will be transferred to the Infectious Clinic in Skopje, where the caretaker team is ready to accept. Their situation is stable, they have mild clinical mirrors-“, said Minister Filipce. /Alsat/
