Authorities, however, reported 39 new infected people, but said they are all imported cases, which means that citizens have contracted the virus outside China and have proved positive after entering China.
The death toll in China has also slowed, said health officials, who reported only three new victims.
A total of 3,142 people have lost their lives in China, according to Johns Hopkins University data.
The National Health Institute in China has said Thursday that all new cases with coronavirus on this day have been imported.
China is believed to be a country of coronavirus origin.
The first cases there have emerged at the end of last year and have subsequently spread to over 150 countries in the world.
Currently, over 244,000 people across the globe are infected, while over 10,000 have lost their lives.
Italy has the largest number of victims: 3,405.
