Another 6 people have resulted in coronavirus infection over the last 24 hours throughout Albania. Lastly 46 tests have been conducted for COVID-19, and only 6 people have proved positive, bringing the total number of affected to 76.
Reference to figures yesterday was also marked by six cases of touch. Even the last 6 cases infected with COVID-19 continue to be from the two most affected cities -- Tirana and Fier -- and are contact with patients confirmed earlier positive.
The Health Ministry explains among other things that 59% of the infected are men, while 41% are women. According to data from the Health Ministry on the state of health of 37 patients who are affected, 4 are in intensive therapy, in the same clinical situation.
Notification:
In the last 24 hours, 46 suspected persons have been tested, of which 6 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed:
5 citizens from Tirana, contacts of positive cases
1 citizen from Fier, also a contact person.
By these moments, 778 are suspected cases and are confirmed positive with COVID-19, 76 cases.
Of the total cases confirmed, 59% are male and 41% are female. And the geographical distribution of the available cases is the following:
• Tirana 55 citizens
• Durres 5 citizens
• Lushnje 2 citizens
• Elbasan 2 citizens
• Fier 8 citizens
• Run 2 citizens
• Cavaja 2 citizens
Two cases of life loss have been recorded so far.
We inform you that there are currently 37 patients at the Infective Hospital. Four of them are in intensive therapy, in the same clinical situation.
While the rest of those laid down in the pavilion are in stable condition right now.
Two zero patient contacts have resulted negative even after the confirmation test that ended last night. But even after the hospital exit, restored patients have to remain in self - quarantine for another 14 days, following respiratory control measures and personal hygiene.
We're continuing to test suspected cases, as an important element for breaking off the transmission chain of COVID-19.
On the other hand, to ensure the success of the suspension of the infection chain, citizens have an essential role. The only way to break this chain is for citizens to be self - satisfied and avoid as many contacts as possible.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection I once again address citizens with a prayer: Don't go to the hospital right now!
The ministry has made a green line available. FALAS 0800 40 per citizen seeking information or advice regarding COVID-19. This line will also serve for chronic patients to get information on how to connect with the family doctor, how they can take advantage of remuneration drugs and any other concern they have.
But it is important to explain: If citizens have signs of illness and emergency cases, the unique national emergency number 127 must be called!
Once again, we repeat the appeal to citizens to respect social distance measures, stay at home, help themselves and their relatives not to be touched by COVID-19 and help medical staff to cope. /Tch/
