Chairman The PDK, Kadri Veseli, has reacted sharply to Prime Minister Albin Kurti's warnings that it will soon lift the fee on Serbian goods.
“Explors concern over the new prime minister's excessive haste to meet Serbia's licenses and settle the Serbian List, which left the government last year due to the tax. A government has fallen as a result of the tax, which has for a time weakened Kosovo”, has written Wessel on his Facebook page.
Full status to PDK head Kadri Wessel:
The tax on Serbian imports has been our state's dignified decision to counter the successive attacks Serbia has made against Kosovo. Expressing concern for the new prime minister's excessive haste to meet Serbia's licenses and settle the Serbian List, which left last government due to the tax. A government has fallen as a result of the tax, which has weakened Kosovo for a while. Hence, there should be no political maneuvering on this sensitive subject, which risks further harming our country. The new government must not surrender to Serbia ahead of major challenges and decisions awaiting Kosovo.
