Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has said today he expects to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Vuciq has stressed that Merkel will discuss resolving the Kosovo issue, but he does not think there is a new plan, as reported in the media.
I don't think there's any new plan to be discussed. No one can come up with a plan and say take it or leave it”, he's been declared, follows the news.net.
On Saturday, Merkel has sent letter to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to meet in Berlin.
The Chancellor's letter says that prior to the new government are important tasks such as rule of law, fighting corruption and organised crime. She has said the new prime minister expects hard work in fighting crime and corruption and improving the economic situation. Also, according to her, Kurti's challenge remains dialogue with Serbia.
“These are the main steps in reinforcing your country's European perspective”, says Merkel's letter to Kurti.
