Kosovo's ambassador to the US, Vlora Citaku, has for the first time spoken on the issue of (no) recognition by Jamaica.
To this day, Citaku has not been declared about this topic, though he was accused of breaking true information and of putting Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and other heads of institutions in vain.
I'm contained in the public statement about the chaos caused over the recognition by Jamaica because many other parties are involved. Table outside Kosovo. It would be non-technical, incorrect, and anti-national to protect myself today, to reveal names and details”, says Citaku on Facebook.
The full post of Ambassador Citaku:
Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Mr. Hakki Abazi has taken a little with me. He called me and the U.S. Embassy instruments in service to the president, not to Kosovo.
It's not the first time Mr. Ahaz deals with me and slanders me. I haven't figured it out yet. I haven't responded before because Mr. Ahaz has not held public office and had no public responsibility.
I've refrained from public statements about the chaos caused over Jamaica's recognition because many other parties are involved. Table outside Kosovo. It would be non-technical, incorrect, and anti-national to protect myself today, to reveal names and details.
Everything will be explained in time.
The deputy prime minister is publicly told, since, as a deputy prime minister, he has never contacted me to clarify the situation in question, if he does not want to contact me, then let him contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Moreover, it is universally known that I have been appointed ambassadors through political keys, just like many other ambassadors. This is not a violation or something extraordinary. In fact, it's regulated by law. As ambassador, I have served Kosovo. I've worked hard my whole life. I'll keep on being like that.
I will not allow my colleagues ' labor and hard work to be tarnished and crushed. It's scary when institutions dance for political and personal rage.
I'm very proud of my colleagues' work and I'll never give in to public blackmail.
I've said before, being a Kosovo ambassador to Washington DC is an honor of my life.
