In the United States, Vlora Citaku takes an example for young politicians

Kosovo's Ambassador to the US, Vlora Citaku, in our country is being criticised by the Vetevendosje Movement because they are leaving it guilty of non-recognition by Jamaica, however, in America by USAID it is considered an example that young politicians should follow. In a recent conversation with W AID, Citaku talks about its political journey and engagement during the time when Kosovo was under Serbian occupation.
For my generation, being engaged in politics is not a choice, but a need. It was a way to survive. Under occupation, you realize that freedom is a condition for creating any other value”, she said.
On the other hand, she has said that the intervention of the US-led internationals in the war in Kosovo has been a success story.
Kosovo is a success story of international intervention, led by the United States. We've come a long way because of our resistance. But there is more left to do. USAID has been our most supportive partner in this”, she said away.
However, the politician, who is considered very successful by Americans, in Kosovo was highly criticised these days, writes Metro newspaper.
The critics mostly took them from members of the Vetevendosje Movement, as these are accusing the ambassador of not doing their job properly after the Jamaica scandal, even though the latter advised our politicians not to let him know, without coming verbal notes.
But, after President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Albin Kurti and MPJA Minister Glauk Konjufca, they flocked with posts thanking Jamaica.
After all this proved untrue, VVA activists, who initially considered it due to them, called for Chitak's dismissal.
Conjufca has even said that she will consider it and make a decision soon.
However, the ambassador himself has reacted afterward, saying that everything will soon be clarified and does not deal with those who slander her. /mtro/
