Powerful ties between Kosovo and the United States have been forged by the joint commitment to making Kosovo sovereign, independent, multi-ethnic and democratic state”, says President Trump's telegram.
He has praised Kosovo for democratic elections in October, welcoming the continued commitment to advance peace, justice and prosperity for the people of Kosovo, as well as the entire Western Balkans region.
“You wanted success in the coming years, in your focus on normalising relations with Serbia, strengthening rule of law, as well as creating conditions for developing the most visual of the private sector”, says further on this telegram of congratulations.
President Trump ultimately writes that the future of the Republic of Kosovo will be bright.
The U.S. “remains committed to the powerful bilateral relations based on the good work of your dynamic population and on the permanent definition of our common values”, it wrote.
