Pristina Chairman Shpend Ahmeti has commented on the “secret agreement to President Hashim Thaci's”, published Wednesday by incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Ahmeti said he should not question co-operation with NATO.
According to him, communication published by Kurti does not enter into the framework of international agreements, but more can be considered as a pledge -- Thaci's granted to then NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
I'm not following them, I'm very committed to dealing with municipal projects, rather than dealing with the 2013 deal, correspondence or not. I believe all political parties have suggested that our co-operation with NATO is not put into question”.
“The constitution says any international agreement must be ratified, so this is not an international agreement I had considered a pledge. There are other topics that will be able to find things about Thaci's actions than this”, reports EO.
