Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakiq has declared Sunday in Belgrade following consultations with Serbia's Government on the political subject he represents is invited only once to consultations for Kosovo's new government.
“We have learned from the media that some coalition has been reached and we have decided not to support that government because we trust only in Belgrade”, Rakiq said, after meeting with Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabyq and chief of the office for Kosovo in the Serbian government, Marko Djuric.
He said the Serbian List will participate in Kosovo institutions, despite not supporting the government.
“There are no conditions for the Serbian List to vote on the new government, but will participate in institutions and fulfil its” mandate, Djuric has said. However, it is not known whether this mood has changed today.
The Serbian list is the largest political subject representing the Serb community in Kosovo.
The Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo have signed the agreement for the future ruling coalition in Kosovo on Sunday.
On 3 February, at the plenary session called by Prime Minister Albin Kurti's mandate, it is expected to be voted for Kosovo's next government, led by LVV and LDK.
