The protest march included Moroccan political leaders, from Islamic to left, as well as union representatives, activists and civil sector members, the AP reports.
Protesters, who carried Palestinian flags, expressed disappointment with Foreign Minister Nasser Burita's statement, which praised Trump's plan and urged citizens not to be “more Palestinians than Palestinians themselves”.
Many Arab countries and the European Union have rejected Trump's plan as unfair, and protesters are urging Morocco to do the same
