There's no office away from the apartment. Making this street stand by Prime Minister Albin Kurti on Sunday sparked debate in the opinion.

Supporters liked the government's chief's move, meanwhile, for opponents that was the populism by Kurti.

As a citizen, I salute him. We need such leaders”, a citizen of Kosovo said.

But security experts are considering that the prime minister's movement without close protection is not an appropriate choice.

“Security should be there for it not to come to a personal threat”, said security expert Nuredin Ibishi.

Ibishi even says it is preferable for Prime Minister Kurti to have the nearest defence even during foreign meetings.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Kurti's cabinet did not provide an answer if he will continue to make his way to work without a car and a bodyguard.

Neither did they comment on this issue in Kosovo police, whose unit provides the police chief.

We remember that once he receives his mandate as prime minister Kurti had said he does not like such privileges, but has to respect the rules.
