Vjosa Osmani, elected at night and with votes from Republika Srpska List, has severely violated NR law. 03L-123 For the State Protocol of the Republic of Kosovo, removing the president's official photograph.
That's how the Democratic Party of Kosovo has started its reaction, following the Kosovo Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani's move, which removed President Hashim Thaci's photo from the office.
The implementation of the law does not depend on anyone's wishes regardless of political beliefs, and it should well know as expert and legalising of jurisdiction. With its primitive action, the suspiciously elected chief division Vjosa Osmani represents the old mentality aimed at revenge and conveys the language of hatred and division of citizens”, the PDK's reaction says.
The PDK considers that from the first day in its new position, Osman is proving that it represents only its interest within its own party and not serve the institution in which it was elected.
According to the PDK, with this anti-legal act it also deeply insults the institution that runs, the Kosovo Assembly, the temple of democracy and lawmakers in our country.
The Kosovo Democratic Party has set an example after the 6 October elections, remaining in opposition and ensuring the transition of power, but will not tolerate violating constitutional and legal order and no relevant Kosovo institution. The PDK is also examining and analyzing the legal side of its choice as chairman last night”, emphasis on the response.
The PDK finally calls for the return of the president's photo to happen as soon as possible.
The Kosovo Assembly's “Administrator to react without delay, on the contrary, the president's photo will return to its position at any cost, as maintaining the country's constitutional character and sovereignty”, the PDK's response reported. /Periscopi/
