PDK boycotted chairmanship meeting, Vjosa Osmani declared

Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani, after the assembly of the Parliament's leadership, said the PDK has not officially announced the chairmanship that it will boycott the meeting.

Osmani has called the PDK boycott unnecessary action, saying she has not removed President Hashim Thaci's photo from her office, but has only shifted it.

I consider it unnecessary because the image of the current president at any moment has not left my cabinet. But it just moved. The protocol law clearly explains that the photograph should be inside the institutions, so as long as it is within this building the country is not important”, Osmani said.

Osmani has been asked by journalists how he reasons past opposition actions ( LV's LDK, which boycotted the Assembly leadership meetings.

Osmani reasoned, saying that cases dealing with domestic territorial encroachment were then addressed. /Periscopi/
