They say Kosovo is likely to get the necessary votes for membership this year.
Foreign and Diaspora Minister Glauk Konjufca's warning that Kosovo this year will not apply for membership in the international organisation I NTERPOL has been criticised by the opposition. While Konjufca said Kosovo is not ready this year to apply, the other wing of the Parliament says that this year Kosovo has the potential to get the necessary votes for membership, the daily writes.
According to them, Kosovo diplomacy should use the 100% fee issue to Serbia this year, so that the international factor will stop the Serbian state in lobbying against Kosovo. Meanwhile, security affairs connoisseurs support the idea that Kosovo will pause and prepare for next year, writes the newspaper “Zer” today.
They say the country should focus on creating new alliances and creating mechanisms that stop Serbia's lobbiing for Kosovo's rejection of international organisations.
