Lumir Abdixhik's wife's brother settles in the chief parliamentary cabinet, Vjosa Osmani

Among those employed near Vjosa Osmani is Rinor Kastrati, brother of the wife of Infrastructure Minister Lumir Abdjiku.

The newspaper Blic has contacted Rinor Kastracti himself, who has confirmed that he was employed in the cabinet of Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani.

He has admitted to being a family member of Lumir Abdixhik, saying the minister of Infrastructure is his son-in-law.

I'm in charge of President Osmani's cabinet. Once upon a time I'm part of her cabinet, because we've not been assigned responsibilities yet. Lumir Obadiah is my sister's husband” Kastrati told the Blic newspaper in response.

Asked about the political impact on his appointment, Kastrati has said it is part of the LDK since 2017.

He even says he worked in the election campaign, on two sets of elections -- those in 2017 and 2019.

I've been part of LDK since 2017. I worked for the LDK in the 2017 and 2019 election campaign. I was part of the candidate for prime minister's election campaign team from LDK, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani”, Kastrati added.

He has also talked about his professional preparation.

Vjosa Osmani, in the last elections, was a candidate for prime minister from the ranks of the Democratic League of Kosovo, now leads with the Kosovo Assembly.

And Obadiah has been appointed Minister of Infrastructure and Transport.
