There are 100 days the opposition parties have promised the new government of Kosovo before starting with the unfolding of criticism and the making of opposition to governing policies.

With the 6 October parliamentary elections, 2019, changes in Kosovo have taken place in government, because the former ruling parties have passed into opposition, while the former ruling opposition.

Three weeks are still running out, opposition and opposition party leaders are being very vocal towards the policies of the prime minister's government, Albin Kurti.

Warnings of tax removal on imports from Serbia, dismissal of public enterprises, or even changes under government restructuring have faced and are facing opposition.

According to political analysts, the new government began work with enthusiasm, so it also sparked reactions -- already in the largest opposition party, the Democratic Party of Kosovo -- say the Kurti government is governing without programme and with improvisements.

Subheader The PDK, Shacir Totaj, told Radio Free Europe, that it is a valid fact that all the causes that have been used during the campaign by parties in the coalition to come to power have left them completely. According to him, none of the promises given are available to this government.

This government does not have a written plan. This government is functioning and working on some kind of current improvisement method. These decisions that have been taken for evacuation, for example by the customs director, this is an approach to cleanup with a political agenda”, Totaj said.

He says the new government had to expect it would bring something new, a new dimension, of new quality, and not of dealing with the past.

“They're only dealing with corrections of some things that were done in the past. It means we're not seeing here a vision, a quality, a new dimension, a new value that we need”, Totaj said.

According to him, The PDK as an opposition party will do its job so that big mistakes do not happen.

Their “their approach to these major national themes... is waiting to see what they do. What they're going to do, because we're witnessing that something else they've spoken about has been done until we have a written plan, we don't know what they're going to do, he said, adding that criticism in the direction of position would not stop.

“Preventiv is better than recovery”, Totaj stressed.

Aware political developments consider the Government of Kosovo, for the actions it has taken for these days of government, there is room for criticism and praise.

Selatin Klokoqi, analyst and researcher in the organisation Democracy Plus, told Radio Free Europe, that the issue currently confusing Kurti Government is the lack of adequate planning for reducing the number of ministries.

We think this government has started working with enthusiasm. He's made some decisions that seem to be different from the other government. What we might criticize is because they didn't seem to have a detailed plan of how they will act after they have 15 or not 21 ministries. It seems this job is taking time because it takes time for the plan to become a plan for restructuring, restoration, or uniting ministries. This is kind of bringing tensions”, Klokoqi said.

An even tougher approach in relation to the new government has the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, led by former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.

The latter, in some cases, has written social media status by addressing Prime Minister Kurti in a firm form that “should not abolish the” tax imposed on imports from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Meanwhile AAK activists on Monday, during an event named “ibol”, sent to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, a large package wrapped in “plasma queks” -- produced by Serbia, telling Kurti that they do not want Serbian products.

The Kosovo Assembly is still in the phase of consolidating new parliamentary commissions, while even there, opposition parties have already warned that very soon they will invite Kurti and the cabinet ministers to report on the decisions they are making.

The new coalition government between the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo is formed on 3 February.

The new Kosovo government has 15 ministries and two deputy prime ministers, while in its composition, the government is expected to have 33 deputy ministers.

Some deputy ministers have been appointed so far, but not most of them.
