The country's Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in an interview for German President “Süddeutsche Zeitung” has again blamed the past government for reaching agreements between Kosovo and Serbia for the railway and highway connection in Munich.
Kurti has declared that he himself, but neither has Minister of Infrastructure Lumir Abdixhiku approved the signing of these agreements, Periscope follows.
“What is signed is a declaration of expression of intent, without much detail. Of course, we need more roads and rail lines. But negotiations have been conducted by the preliminary government, we have not been involved. I have reservations, among other things concerning whether financing would be in accordance with the Constitution. I haven't seen the final version. Neither the minister of infrastructure nor I as prime minister have approved the signing”, Kurti has declared.
Speaking of the idea of exchanging territories, Kurti has declared that this project has failed, but that the idea is not dead.
This project has failed, but the idea is not dead. We have to be careful. Such territory-changing solutions can open Pandora's box”, Kurti stressed.
The question of whether Kosovo enters the EU in 2030, which flag will wave over the government building in Pristina, Kurti has not responded directly, saying it will be the European one. /Periscope.
