Hostage That Shocked Albania

Hostage That Shocked Albania

The full story of the capture of Jak Pringa on January 17th and all the events that followed. A crime that's due, 300 kilos of cocaine. The chronicle of an event from Camza to Shijak, from Ecuador to London, which includes the most powerful traffic groups in the country of the afternoon. [...]

On January 17th, a person called the police, reporting that there had been a kidnapping in Kamuz. A few minutes later, police confirmed that Jack Prenga had been kidnapped, and as a result, he argued over a car.

But police surveillance, revealed how some criminal groups in Albania and abroad had ordered the capture of Jak Pringa, after his brother had failed to hand over 300kg of cocaine to Great Britain.

6 Criminal Groups

A criminal group in Shijak, another in Durres, two groups in Shkodra and a criminal group in Vlora, as well as a numerous Albanian in Ecuador's prisons, allegedly committed and ordered the kidnapping of Jak Pringa, in order to pressure his brother to hand over the amount of cocaine.

There is evidence that the amount of cocaine was held hostage by Jak Pringa's brother, Shkrek Prenga, the other brother, who is in England, and had not been handed over to the taskmaster in Great Britain. This disturbed criminal groups that had ordered cocaine to Latin America, among them Dritan Rexhepi, named as the liaison between Albanians and Colombians. Dritan Rexhepi is accused of killing two police officers in Albania, but today he is in Ecuador prison, precisely because he was arrested during a cocaine operation. Rexhepi is thought to have given the final order for the kidnapping of Jak Pringa. The Hajri Brothers from Shijak, they followed the order, kidnapped Jak Pringa. Even some of the Doci group from Shkodra allegedly engaged in this kidnapping, while knowledge is thought to have had a powerful criminal group in Vlora.

I'm Gentin Doci from Shkodra, don't make a mistake touching the amount of cocaine because it's my stuff and you have to send it back”

This is believed by police sources that it is Doci's call in the direction of Ndrek Prenga, who was in prison and who is the brother of the kidnapped. Ndreca told her I'm in jail but I'm gonna talk to A. and G. Shulain and I'll explain things. A few days later, Ndreka was called by another person who was introduced as Gramoz of Vlora who told <x0... don't make a mistake playing our stuff”

Why did Jak Prenga die?

Jak Prenga was raped along the way from Camza to Shijak. His clothing had been removed, and his bloodshed was allegedly lost to life and to the authors, evidently because they did not want to kill him. He was kidnapped just to pressure his brother in England for cocaine, but the Hajri brothers allegedly failed to manage the situation, causing him to die.

The Conflict That Brings Kidnapping

Astrit Prenga allegedly worked in England on drugs. It was often contracted by an Englishman to extract cocaine from Portsmuth port. In December 2019, Astrit Pringa was asked to exit the port of 283kg of cocaine. The bit's out of cocaine, but the English asked him to make back payments, otherwise he wouldn't give him the coke. The Englishman told him cocaine was not his, but another Albanian. Next, Englishman called Dritan Rexhepi in Ecuador. He called Astrit Pringa and asked him to hand over the cocaine. Prenga told him you don't know him and he's with the English. On several calls, Dritan Rexhepi has warned Astrit Prenga there would be consequences, telling him that the drugs were his and the Doci brothers from Shkodra, but again the cocaine did not give up. Then, always according to the police version, Dritan Rexhepi allegedly communicated with Dochi in Shkodra, where they planned the kidnapping of one of the Astrit Pringa brothers. It was decided of my older brother, Jak Pringa. The kidnapping was commissioned by the Hajri brothers in Shijak, who were tasked with kidnapping and rape until sending an Astrit Pringa message. The situation apparently came out of control, and Jak Prenga lost her life.

Golden complex, Eldorado in the middle of nowhere

The Hajri brothers ' golden complex is located about two miles [3 km] from Shijak, in the village of Pjeza Xhafzotji. A highly luxurious object that contrasts strongly with its surroundings. Looks like an oasis erected in the middle of nothing. But, golden colex, it hasn't been very strange, although from Tirana it's more than 25 kilometers apart. In the profile of this Facebook business, you'll see a lot of singers, artists or others from the entertainment world that were part of the activities that were organised there. Business results in the name of Altin Hajri, one of Bajram Hajri's boys, and this one arrested for the kidnapping and murder of Jak Pringa.

The golden complex has been built since 2004, and although it stands out for the luxury and great value of construction, it has never been controlled by the respective organs, although its owners were suspected of criminal activity, mainly in Italy. Up to 170 seasonal weddings were performed in this complex, and an annual ride of $500,800 million was circulated annually.

The total value of the facility, according to statements, totals a fivem-euro figure, with 4.4m euros costing only buildings. It is still not known why kidnapping executioners have thought of sending the hostage to this complex, where they were not only easily identifiable but also an environment full of surveillance cameras. Security probably even came from the fact that the police had never entered their complex. They seem to have had political support, since the kidnappers generally do not act that way. They find other buildings away from their action zone to remove any suspicion from the police.

Activity

But how the empire of the Hajri brothers rose. Italian media record that the first to go to Italy in the city of Padova in the early 2000 ' s was Altin Hajri, who was followed by his brother Emiljan.

In the neighboring state of Italy, about 20 kilograms [20 kg] of heroin are seized in the city of Brescia. Then another 20 pounds [10 kg] in the city of Padova, while in the Roverara area in a laboratory, 300 pounds [300 kg] are seized. On the way they were prepared for another 500 pounds [450 kg] to be trafficked. The subsequent investigations led Italian investigators into the footsteps of the Hajri brothers, who from the claness refugees already had their own organization. Italian media describe them as very discrete.

Eric Hajri returns to Albania at this time, leading the organisation from its birthplace. The money is being delivered gradually by the couriers, while some of it had been invested in the golden complex. In addition to Italy's line, it seems that the Hajri brothers have expanded the activity, already entering cocaine traffic, which came from Ecuador to the great Britain or other EU countries, playing simultaneously and the role of executioners as it was and the case of Jak Pringa.

Screenplay

Looks like a scenario. Sacrifice, worthy of narcos, but it just happened. In an environment not more than 20 kilometers from Tirana, luxury and never controlled by police, never investigated by taxes or money laundering.

The Hajri brothers ' activity was known to police, even Altin Hajri for some time was on the run and by Interpol, but they have again remained calm to be active even in traffic and other activities. A case that speaks clearly and of the support they have had from high political circles. Eric Hajri was arrested only once in 2013, and although his work had been documented, he was again released two days later. And they are not alone. The massive cannabis of 2016-2017 is bringing another phenomenon to the attention.

Money earned at the time is being invested in drug trafficking hard, such as cocaine, a activity that is producing more and more victims every day. Salaries or shopping centres that are raised by companies with 7 or 8 thousand euros in capital, are not investigated. Prisons are packed with cannabis users, or for other minor crimes, but those who run narcotrophic fibers continue to wander free, and to care for the honest part of society that can barely close the month. We talk about reform and strategy every day, but the light still looks distant at the end of the tunnel. The evidence is there, clear in the sunlight, only political will is needed to be sent before the docking bank, which appears to be missing.

Dritan Rexhepi, direct traffic from Ecuador

Dritan Rexhepi, has been held in a maximum security prison in Quit Ecuador for six years. It is not an unknown name for justice, not only Albanian but also of several other states. He is suspected to be also one of the main attackers for the kidnapping and then the execution of Jak Pringa, as well as the co-ordination of jobs between Latin American and Albanian traffickers.

His former name turns out to have been Gramous, but it changes that name to the civilian state of Vlora City, where it even manages to modify its native country by enrolling from birth in the village of Velca, born and inhabited Vlora. Dritan Gramoz Rexhepaj started his criminal career at the age of 19 where he is believed he agreed to kill police officer Durim Kasmi and Ramadan Bakiu, an execution that took place in 1999 in the centre of Kruja. The two were shot with an automatic hailstorm of 37 bullets, says the current state police act, which the newspaper “as its home”. One target died immediately on the scene, while the second passed 11 days later.

He was brought under indictment along with two other persons from the city of Vlora for murder because of the state Police's effective task, but justice cleared the charges, considering a simple crime and not due to office. But Dritan Rexhepaj is a highly curving name in several states over the past two decades for various crimes, such as bank theft, escape, drug trafficking and others. He's escaped several times from prisons in Italy, Spain, and Belgium.

Gentian Dochi, from cannabis to cocaine

Gentian Doci, is another known name in search of kidnapping and then the death of Dodo (Jani) Prenga within the golden complex in the village of Pizak. It's not an unknown name for justice. Gentian Doci is from Dukagjini province, but has landed in Shkodra in the 1990s in the industrial area. Sources say that his activity begins in the neighboring state of Italy, where he has primarily been involved in theft. Then he returned to Albania, where police suspect he was involved in the cultivation and sale of cannabis in the Dukagjin area.

Doci, according to official sources, is thought to be the person who has contacted Astrit Pringga, who is in prison in England on charges of narcotics trafficking. Gentian Doci, has been not only one of the investors but also guaranteed that drugs would go to destination. But something went wrong. Astrit Prenga has not handed over the amount of cocaine coming from Ecuador, changing the rules of the game in the middle of the street. Then the kidnapping of the older brother of the Prenga family has been ordered. From England, Astrit Prenga as she comes out of the answer has asked Gentian Dochi where his brother is, and he's replied to “he knows where you have him. The fact that the only point of access to Astrit Prenga was Dochi has prompted police to think that Dochi has recommended Prancea to other groups by making bail for her. It's a story similar to that of kidnappings in Latin America. When money comes into the picture, only lead or slaughter is handled. That was the case with Jani Pringa, who owned a furniture in the Camza area, and had stayed away from his brothers ' business.

The detainees refuse the charge: We closed the resort.

Prenga's kidnapping took place on January 17th, and police believe he has died that day. Despite several days of research, police forces have yet to find the body. Thus, the main legal evidence, which could nail those arrested, has not yet been found, although the research is being carried out intensively. The person thought to be leading the kidnapping of Altin Hajri, and his brother Emiliano Hajri are still on the run.

Meanwhile, the Criminal Court has imposed yesterday the security measure “in prison for the 5 detainees for the kidnapping and murder of Jak Pringa. Peaceful and even smiling, they appeared before the court, Leonard Hajri 36, (condemned earlier) his father, Bajram Hajri 64, his cousin Elton Hajri 32, another family member, Festim Beddil, and their close friend Olsi Turja 36, all residents in Shijak. Meanwhile, there are 10 others on the run, but there are allegedly two other criminal gangs from Shkodra and Vlora involved. The detainees are charged with <x0.2nd payback or hostage to person”, “Hide or eliminate body”, “Actions that prevent the whitelight of truth”, “Supporting the author of crime”, carried out in co-operation, and “Non-licit integrity”.

During yesterday's session they have denied the accusations, saying they kept the resort closed by the earthquake and that they did not know who could have entered.

Leonard Hajri also denied taking part in the crime, claiming that there was nothing in Albania since he lived in Italy. Outside the courts' environments, their lawyer, Arber Hoxha, said he too had seen the video claiming that the accused put the lifeless body of 49-year-old Prenga in a van. According to him, the images are white and unclear to determine that they are his clients.
