The chief of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova, will today take part in the closing event of the EU project for the support of Kosovo's correctional and trying services, which will be held in Pristina.
The Twinisation Project, worth 2m euros, has been funded by the European Union in Kosovo and implemented by the Finland Criminal Sanctions Agency from September 2017.
The project has assisted corrective and testing services in increasing the use of sanctions and alternative measures, further development of database systems for corrective and testing services, drafting corresponding sublaw acts, and strengthening the prevention and reintegration of new offenders in society.
In this case, Apostolova, will also give a speech at the conclusion of this project.
Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu will also attend the event.
