Drocun: We cannot talk to Kurt because of his extreme views

The head of the Council for Kosovo in Serbia's Parliament, Milovan Drescu, has declared that with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, they cannot talk.

According to Drescu, Kurti is an immature political figure who has extreme political views and, as he put it, Kurti's statements for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue are cynical, broadcast news.net.

But in “Kjetin Kurti”, the Serbian List will be represented with two ministries, and Drescu has said that despite that, Kurti opposes the process of normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations.

“The government, which will be led by Kurti, is not only against the process of normalising relations between Belgrade and Pristina, but also against the coexistence of both peoples”, Drescu said in this interview, broadcasts the news further.net.

According to him, Albin Kurti's government programme is one that makes it impossible to continue the dialogue and that this dialogue can only end with international pressure.

I don't see any room for reaching agreement. Kurti does not allow any possibility of finding a solution”, Drescu said further.

Drexun has also spoken of military service that Kurti said during Monday would be binding.

Drescu says the mandatory military service is being used by Kurti against the Serbian people living in Kosovo, and that with that Kurti will only wage more war and do ethnic cleansing of the Serb people in Kosovo.

“Kurti has also opened a lawsuit against Serbia for the alleged genocide, and all this is the opposite of dialogue”, Drescu said.
