It says that in a similar situation, but before coming to power, the LDK's VV would say “what meaning does the dismissal of the ambassador, unless initially resigns from Foreign Minister”.

Foreign Affairs Minister Glauk Konjufca has said that recognition by Jamaica was informed by Ambassador Vlora Citaku. But, it warned measures over the issue of not recognising Jamaica.
But, the first to deliver the news of Kosovo's recognition by Jamaica, was President Hashim Thaci, who communicated via Twitter. He wrote that it was announced by Kosovo Ambassador to the US Vlora Citaku.
The president's publication of the news prompted the reaction of Jamaican authorities.
